Got a shot of a cardinal. I've always been in awe when one standed near me, for I find them gorgeous birds. But they've always been elusive when it came time for me to take a picture. Yesterday while making lunch, I looked outside and there he stood. Of course, I thought that by the time I'd go upstairs, fetch my camera and change the lens, the bird would be gone. I kept looking outside for 5 minutes and he was still around. So I ran to get my equipement, came back downstairs expecting him to be gone (my usual luck) but he wasn't.
